Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week's theme is 'Cut a Rug', which is all about our favourite dies from the new Annual Catalogue. My favourites do seem to change as time goes on, but right now I can definitely say that I am loving the Darling Details Bundle. Last week I used the stamp set and this week I'm focusing on the dies, which are just the cutest!
I really wanted to use the die that created a sweet little border with scalloped edges and tiny little dots and flowers. I layered three of these on top of each other in Fresh Freesia, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party. (One of my favourite colour combos at the moment!). The background is just Basic White Cardstock embossed with the Painted Texture folder on a Lost Lagoon card base.
The sentiment was heat embossed in black on Pool Party and cut out using the large flower die from the set and layered on top of these cute flowers that I cut out in Basic Black. I think 'darling' is the perfect word for these dies! I hope you like them too.
