Saturday Blog Hop: Favourite New September Online Exclusive

ree

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! I'm really excited about our theme this week as we each share our favourite new Online Exclusive from the collection that was released this past week.

I may or may not have multiple favourites (of course!), but I chose the Festive Friends Bundle for this week because I've been dying to get crafting with it! The images grabbed my attention right away - they are just the cutest!☃️

Stampin' Up! Card Ideas. Christmas Card Ideas. Festive Friends Bundle

Products Used

  • Bundle: Festive Friends. In this bundle you get the cutest snowman, elf and Santa to create with. The dies are also so much fun with pretty snowflakes and whimsical trees, plus an amazing large tag die!

  • Colour Combo: Shaded Spruce, Pool Party & Real Red.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Card Base:

    1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".

    2. Cut Pool Party Two-Tone Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4". Then tear off the top & the bottom on the cardstock with the light side up.

    3. Cut out a couple of the snowflakes to use as a mask. Using Pool Party ink and your masks, add a few snowflakes to the Two-Tone Cardstock with a small Blending Brush to create a fun background.

    4. Add to card base.

  2. Decorative Elements:

    1. Cut out the tag die.

      1. Colour it with Pool Party and Shaded Spruce ink and Blending Brushes.

      2. Randomly stamp a few of the trees in Shaded Spruce.

      3. Tie on some twine.

      4. Add to card front with dimensionals.

    2. Stamp and colour in your snowman.

      1. I stamped first in Memento Tuxedo Black.

      2. I coloured my snowman with Shaded Spruce, Pool Party, Real Red & Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.

      3. Cut out with the matching die and add onto tag with dimensionals.

    3. Add any sentiment and you're done! So cute!

I can't wait to try the Santa and the little elf next!
