Saturday Blog Hop: Fun with Dots

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! This week it's all about Dots! I've been loving the last few weeks focusing on patterns and it's been fun to see everyone's different takes on them. For my card, I created my own dots with a bit of stamping.

Products Used

• Colour Combo: Yellow! 💛 This is my favourite colour and I'm not sure I've ever made an all yellow card before. Daffodil Delight is the paper and Crushed Curry the ink for a richer tone.

• Stamp Set: Sunshine Vibes. If there's any stamp with a sun or the word 'sunshine' , I always pick it up! ☀️

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Daffodil Delight Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".

   2. Cut Basic White Cardstock to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". and adhere to card.

2. Design:

   1. Cut Basic White Cardstock to 3 3/4" x 2 3/4". Stamp a repeating pattern with the dots image from the 'Sunshine Vibes' Stamp Set in Crushed Curry. Add to card.

   2. Cut a 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" piece of DSP. I chose the yellow pattern in the 'Beautiful Bokeh' DSP to keep with our dot theme. Add on card.

   3. Stamp the sunshine and the sun rays and fussy cut out. Layer on top of DSP.

   4. Cut a 3 3/4" x 1/2" strip of the same DSP and cover up the seam between the 2 papers and the bottom of the sun.

3. Sentiment:

   1. Grab this perfect sentiment from the 'Greetings for All' Mix & Match Ephemera and add to card with dimensionals.

Now pop in the mail to make someone's day!
