Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! I am so thrilled to be able to start sharing some sneak peeks of new products that will be found in the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue! Our theme for this week is, 'Happy You Are Here' and we were to choose our favourite stamp set that we were able to purchase on the preorder. (Definite perk to being a part of Stampin' Up! is getting new products early!). I chose the Cup of Tea Stamp Set and I hope you love it as much as I do!
I just love all the images in this stamp set and I tried to use as many of them as possible for you on this card. I'm actually much more of a coffee person than a tea person, but this stamp set is just so much fun, especially this striped tea cup! I decided to combine stripes and yellow, 2 of my favourite things! The yellow (Crushed Curry) was heat embossed with clear embossing powder to give it a fun shiny look.
The background of the card is a pattern from the coordinating designer series paper, which is called Tea Boutique. The next layer is Petal Pink cardstock, with the large leaf image stamped randomly. I love the leaves, flowers and little tea bag too, all cut out with the coordinating Teacup Dies. I've also stamped a bit on the inside so you can see more of the images. The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green and fussy cut out.
