Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Valentine's Day is in a couple of days and we are celebrating 'Love' here on the blog hop this week. My card this week would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary as well as Valentine's. I never seem to have too many of those cards in my stash, so I might need to make a few to keep on hand!
Believe it or not, I've had the Artistically Linked Stamp Set sitting unused since I bought it. I think I was a little intimidated to try it out, but the flowers had the perfect soft touch I was looking for. I went online to look for wedding colour ideas and came up with this lovely combo of Soft Succulent, Blushing Bride and Petal Pink. So, I stamped and cut out 3 flowers with those colours and then to get a lacy look behind them, I used the Penned Flowers Dies.
The card base is Soft Succulent, with another layer of Soft Succulent and then the lovely Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-Bration. To finish off the card I added the sentiment heat embossed in gold, a little gold shimmer ribbon and some of the Elegant Faceted Gems. The card looks quite fancy, but wasn't too hard to put together . . . just one layer at a time! If you would like any of these fabulous products, see the full list below.
