Saturday Blog Hop: Masculine Love

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! Our theme for this week is 'Masculine Love'. I definitely kept my husband in mind when I was thinking of what to create. He's not really into cards - but chocolate? Yes, please! So, I decided to make a wrap for his favourite chocolate bar, a Cadbury Dairymilk.

I also kept this project super simple - easy to recreate!

Stampin' Up! Idea. Valentine's Day Treat Ideas.

Products Used

  • Paper: I wanted to keep it Valentine's feeling, so I used the blue from the 'Love Notes' Mix & Match DSP.

  • Colour Combo: Balmy Blue, Secret Sea and just a hint of pink!

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Paper Wrap Base:

    1. Cut DSP to 4 3/4" x 4". (This is sized to perfectly wrap around this chocolate bar, so you'd need to adjust for what you use).

    2. Put a piece of Tear & Tape on one end (on the 4 3/4" side). Then wrap the paper around the chocolate bar and then seal up on the bottom.

  2. Tag:

    1. Cut out 2 circles with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. One in Secret Sea and one from the DSP.

    2. Add the DSP circle to the Secret Sea one with dimensionals.

    3. Stamp sentiment. I heat embossed mine in white on Secret Sea and then trimmed it to size. Any 'love' sentiment will do! This one is from the 'Lovely Arrangements' Stamp Set.

    4. Add sentiment to circles with dimensionals.

    5. Add a couple cute envelopes from the 'Loose Valentine's Assortment'. Hold the envelope with the sticky end of your Take Your Pick Tool, add a little glue on the back and then add to project.

    6. Add tag to chocolate bar with Tear & Tape.
