Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week we are making Monochromatic Cards, so they needed to be all one colour, with white or vanilla added if we needed. At first I wasn't too sure how I wanted it to look, so I decided to start by choosing the colour. I went with one of my all time favourites - Pool Party!
Using this fun hexagon die from the Beautiful Shapes Dies, I added some texture to the card. I started with a main one in the centre, then just kept working my way out until the card front was filled. Then, I used this tropical leaf image from the Artfully Layered Stamp Set, inked it up (in Pool Party, of course!), and stamped it randomly on the card.
Keeping it simple, I stamped the 'thank you' on this fun die cut also from the Beautiful Shapes Dies. It was adhered to the card using dimensionals on top of this sheer Pool Party Ribbon. And voilá, a lovely card all in one colour!
