Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! This week we are choosing our favourite new 2024-2026 In Color and creating our card with it. I'm not sure I've totally decided what my new favourite is, but I think that I'm leaning toward Summer Splash this week😄.
It was fun to go all in with one colour on this card. On a Basic White card base, I added a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of the Summer Splash cardstock for the background. I then chose 3 different patterns of DSP, cut them to 4" by about 2" and tore the top off of each one.
Once those were layered on the card, I added the oval label piece that comes from the new Unbounded Love Dies.
All of this was to create a card for this cutie little bird that is in the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set. I used Lemon Lolly Blends and then my Wink of Stella with the Summer Splash ink as I don't have the blends in the new colours (yet!).
I am loving all the sentiments in both the Country Flowers and Country Birdhouse Stamp Set and chose one here to heat emboss in white on some more Summer Splash cardstock.
