Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! We have more fun with the new In Colors for you this week. This time we are pairing Orchid Oasis and Sweet Sorbet together. I am already starting to feel nostalgic about the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle (it will be retiring at the end of June), so it was fun to use it on this card for you.
On a white card base, I first added a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock, and then layered another piece cut at 3" x 5 1/4" that was embossed with the fun stripes folder from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder pack. Embossing folders are such an easy way to add great texture and interest to your handmade cards.
The rainbow was stamped in Sweet Sorbet and Orchid Oasis (of course!), with the smallest arch being stamped off one time. The clouds come from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies and I just love these cute little hearts that can be found in the new Teacup Dies. It's a little hard to tell in the photo, but I added Wink of Stella to all the clouds and hearts and the sparkle was the perfect final touch to the card.
