Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week we are combining two of the brand new In Colors; Parakeet Party & Tahitian Tide. As soon as I heard we were pairing these 2 colours, I knew that I wanted to use the Cactus Cuties Bundle.
The base of the card is of course in Parakeet Party. I then layered on another piece of cardstock and stamped one of the cactus images in the same colour. To create the backdrop for the cactus, I cut out 2 squares from the Tea Boutique DSP and one circle using the awesome new Stylish Shapes Dies. These dies are definitely a staple for your crafting collection!
The cactus was stamped in Parakeet Party, the pot is Tahitian Tide and the little flowers look awesome in a pop of Polished Pink. To finish off the card, I heat embossed the sentiment in white and added a bit of my favourite In Color Baker's Twine.
