Saturday Blog Hop: Pink Champagne

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! This week our song title theme is ' Pink Champagne' by Ariana Grande. I was excited about this week's colour - it gives me one last chance at a fun summery coloured card!😎 Soon enough it will be all fall and holiday themed cards!

Products Used

• Colour Combo: Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink, Cloud Cover & Secret Sea.

• Dies: I've used the 'Impressions Abloom' Dies again this week, this time just the flower. This set of dies is definitely one of my favourites of the moment!

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".

   2. Cut DSP (from Celebratory Sips DSP) to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Add to card.

2. Background:

   1. Cut Basic White Cardstock to 3 1/4" x 4 1/2".

   2. Using Blending Brushes, add Pretty in Pink and Strawberry Slush ink to create the background.

   3. Randomly stamp a few little accents in Strawberry Slush. I used the little splotch stamp from the 'Perfectly Pears' Stamp Set.

   4. Add this piece to a 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock and add to card base.

3. Sentiment & Embellishments:

   1. Cut a 3" x 3/4" piece of DSP and add to card.

   2. On Basic White cardstock, layer on some Strawberry Slush ink using a Blending Brush. Then cut out one large and one small flower using the Impressions Abloom Dies. Stack together and add to card with dimensionals.

   3. Cut a 10" piece of twine. Tie a bow and tuck into flowers.

   4. Add gems as the centre of the flower.

   5. Add any sentiment. I used this one from the 'More Messages' Bundle.

   6. Add any other gems or accents. I cut out these 3 little flowers (also from Impressions Abloom).
