Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Welcome to this week's theme, 'Put Some Bling On It'. There are so many fantastic new embellishments in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue and we were to pick our favourite to highlight this week. I am just thrilled with all the colour choices in the embellishments this year and might try and collect them all! For my card, I chose the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack and used the colours as my inspiration: Pretty Peacock, Blueberry Bushel, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist.
Using the Darling Details Stamp Set and Dies (which are so cute!), I stamped a bit of a background. First the flowers in Bubble Bath, then the leaves in Pretty Peacock and added a few of the little flowers to bring in the Lemon Lime Twist. The main flower is in Berry Burst, cut out and popped up with some dimensionals. To add a hint of the Blueberry Bushel as well, I decided to use it on the sentiment.
Of course, once the stamping was done, I added a variety of the gems to add the sparkle to the card! They are so lovely! There is also a Tinsel Gems Three-Pack in some softer colours as well. I'm sure you're going to find an embellishment that you love too.
