Saturday Blog Hop: Red, White & Blue Celebration

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! We love creating for you to give you some inspiration in your own crafting.

Did you know that we're on Instagram? You can follow us here @createwithstampingfriends.

Today's a big day for our American friends - Happy 250th! We are taking today to celebrate the 4th of July with Red, White & Blue themed cards. We had Canada Day here on Wednesday and I feel like this card would work well for celebrating any fun summer event.🍓

Stampin' Up 2026. Red, white & blue. 4th of July card. filled with sweetness bundle.

Products Used

  • Colour Combo: Real Red, Misty Moonlight and Basic White of course!

  • Bundle:  'Made with Sweetness.' I feel like the whole 'Homemade Sweetness' Suite will be something I come back to every summer!

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Card Base:

    1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".

    2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

  2. Card Front:

    1. Cut Basic White Cardstock to 5 1/4" x 4".

      1. Emboss with the 'Forever Plaid' 3D Embossing Folder and add to card front.

    2. Cut the cute picnic themed patttern of paper from the 'Cute as a Bug' DSP to 4" x 2 1/4". Add to card front.

    3. Cut the gingham pattern from the 'Homemade Sweetness' DSP to 3 3/4" x 1 1/2".

      1. Wrap Real Red & White Baker's Twine around twice. Then add this to the card with dimensionals.

    4. Fruit: Stamp & colour 3 sets of blueberries and 3 strawberries. (I stamped in Black and used Stampin' Blends in Real Red, Misty Moonlight & Granny Apple Green)

      1. Add in pairs to card front.

    5. Cut out white label piece (from Made with Sweetness) and add with dimensionals.

    6. Heat emboss your favourite festive sentiment in white on Real Red cardstock and then fussy cut out. (This sentiment is from the 'Balloon Festoon' Stamp Set).

      1. Add to label piece.

    7. Add embellishments.🍓🫐
