Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! The theme for this week was "Seaside" and our inspiration could be the beach, water, boats or whatever makes you think of the sea! I live in the prairies closer to the mountains than I do the ocean, so I actually don't own a single stamp set that has anything to do with water! So, I thought that it would be fun to create an ocean background just using colour and my Blending Brushes.
These colours are so beautiful together and it is making me really wish I had a trip to the beach on the horizon! I started kind of in the middle of the card with Pool Party, then I moved up to Coastal Cabana and put Tahitian Tide at the top. To create the sand I used Crumb Cake.
The sentiment on the card was heat embossed in white on Coastal Cabana and uses a few of my favourite retiring products.
