Saturday Blog Hop: Sepia Tones

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! I was a little unsure of our challenge this week, to create a card that featured Sepia Tones, but it's always fun to see what comes out of trying something out of my comfort zone!

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Crumb Cake Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".

   2. Cut Pecan Pie to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".

2. Main Design:

   1. Cut out Basic White to 4" x 5 1/4". Be sure to stamp and colour before adding to the card base.

   2. Stamp 3 sets of flowers in Pecan Pie. I started with the main one and then added one in the bottom right and one to the top left.

   3. Using the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes, colour in the flowers and leaves. I used Crumb Cake as the base and Pecan Pie for the details.

   4. Add to card base.

3. Sentiment & Embellishments:

   1. Cut 12" of Linen Thread, loop back and forth and add to card with a Glue Dot.

   2. Chose a sentiment ( I used one from the 'Unbounded Love' stamp set), heat emboss it in white on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut it out with a die from the 'Textured Notes' Dies. Add to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

   3. Add a few of the Pecan Pie Matte Dots.
