Saturday Blog Hop: Spring Has Sprung 2026

We are officially a week into Spring and we are embracing it with this week's theme - Spring has Sprung! I'm loving the softer colour palettes of Spring and thinking about all those early Spring flowers to come, so that was the inspiration for this week's card.

Products Used

• Colour Combo: Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, Old Olive & Crumb Cake

• Stamp Set: 'Flowers Fair'. This is a fantastic background stamp. So many ways to be creative with it!

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

   2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

2. Card Front:

   1. Cut Basic White Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4".

      1. Stamp flower image in Crumb Cake to cover the whole piece.

      2. Colour in with Stampin' Blends. I used Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Old Olive & Crumb Cake.

   2. Cut Crumb Cake Cardstock to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Add stamped piece to this.

      1. Wrap about 18" of Crumb Cake Baker's Twine around these 2 pieces, then add to card front.

3. Details:

   1. Sentiment

      1. Heat emboss sentiment in white on Crumb Cake (This sentiment is from the 'Springtime Scenes' Stamp Set). Cut out with a label die, like this one from 'Forever Florals'. Add to card with Dimensionals.

   2. Finish with the 'Iridescent Foil Gems'.
