Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Spring is here! Or is it? It might depend a bit where you live, but at the very least I know that we are all very ready for spring to come. One of the first plants to be available to buy at garden centres around here are pansies, so I always think of them in springtime. It was fun to dust off my Pansy Patch Bundle and create a card full of spring colours and images.
The pansies and leaves are stamped with So Saffron, Orchid Oasis and Pear Pizzazz and cut out with the coordinating dies. These colours are already giving me spring vibes.
I let the pansies be front and centre and added a simple sentiment from the same Pansy Patch Stamp Set, heat embossed on Pear Pizzazz.
The white cardstock is cut to 4 3/4" x 3 1/2", which is on a piece of Pear Pizzazz cut at 4 7/8" x 3 5/8". The background is full card size at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and comes from the Country Gingham DSP. Of course, I had to finish off the card with my favourite embellishments of the moment, the Brushed Brass Butterflies!
Here are the item numbers of the main product in my card if you'd like to try this too:
