Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! I hope you enjoy our Christmas themes over the next few weeks, it might help you with a few last minute Christmas cards. Our theme today is Vanilla & Gold Christmas. There were so many lovely gold products this year from Stampin' Up! to play with.
This card is a nice simple layout that would be easy to recreate with your favourite products. The card base is Very Vanilla, of course. The main piece of specialty DSP is from the Shining Brightly DSP and is cut to 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". Added in behind are 2 pieces of the gold woodgrain pattern from the Joyful Specialty DSP cut at 1/2" x 5".
The sentiment was heat embossed in gold on Very Vanilla and cut out with a label die from the Something Fancy Dies. The pretty ribbon is a classic from the Annual Catalogue and is just folded in 3 and tucked behind the sentiment. I added in a few gold embellishments to finish it off. I love the elegance that the gold and vanilla bring to a Christmas card!
