Saturday Blog Hop: Winter Wonderland

Oh my goodness, it has definitely been a winter wonderland this week in Calgary! And cold too . . . brrr! Although, I'm not going to complain about having snow just in time for Christmas. I hope you're enjoying our Saturday Blog Hop so far as we bring you our take on a Winter Wonderland in the world of paper crafting! Here is my card this week.

On a Night of Navy Card Base, I created a snowflake background by cutting out 5 snowflakes and laying them around the edge of the card. The Mint Macaron DSP is cut at 3" x 4" and is layered on top of Sahara Sand cardstock cut at 3 1/8" x 4 1/8".

The scalloped circle is cut out in Mint Macaron and adorned with one of the Wonderful Snowflakes. The sentiment comes from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set and was heat embossed in white on Night of Navy. The Elegant Faceted Gems were the perfect touch to finish off the card.
