I've been working with different fall colour combos for the past few weeks, as well as trying to use a few of my lesser used Stampin' Up! colours. This week I have a simple congratulations card for you that features Merry Merlot, which can be found in the Neutrals colour family from Stampin' Up!.
This time, I've paired Merry Merlot with Bumblebee (my favourite yellow!) and Petal Pink (my favourite pink!). Again, I've left this card fairly simple, but I love how this flower image from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set can look really beautiful all on its own. I think that is one of the reasons why I love that stamp set so much. You can keep it simple like this or add in the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies to add in some more layers.
The basic dimensions are:
Merry Merlot: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Bumblebee DSP: 4" x 4 3/4"
Petal Pink: 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" (then cut the scalloped edges)
Basic White: 3 3/4" x 4"
Of course, this card would work well with any sentiment, be it birthday, sympathy, thank you or even just because! The sentiment looks great heat embossed in white on Merry Merlot cardstock. To see which products I used today, or to purchase any of them, just check the end of this post for a full list of current items.
