Simple Stamping with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle

This week I have had a lot of fun diving into spring while using products from the Dandy Garden Suite. Yesterday on my Facebook Live, I had fun sharing a couple simple cards using the Dragonfly Garden Bundle and the awesome Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper.

My first card was just getting back to the basics; stamps, ink and paper! I love this flower image from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set . . . it reminds me of my garden in the summer. I stamped it in Bumblebee ink 3 times, just moving down the card a little bit each time. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight on a piece of Basic White Cardstock cut at 3 1/2" x 1". The dragonfly was also stamped in Misty Moonlight, punched out with the Dragonflies Punch and put on the card with a dimensional. A card doesn't have to complicated to be beautiful!

For my next card, I brought in the designer series paper. I chose a pattern where I loved both the front and the back. I cut it to 4" x 5 1/4". Then I ran it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies. Then I simply took the circle that was cut out, turned it around and set it back in the hole that was cut out! I love this inset look! I adhered the DSP to a piece of Basic White Cardstock that was the same size, so that I could lift it off the card base with dimensionals. Then similar to my first card, I added the sentiment and dragonfly.

If you'd love to see how these came together with the matching envelope, you can watch the video below! You can find me live on Facebook every Thursday at 12pm MST. First, here's another card just using a different piece of the Dandy Garden DSP.
