Today, after a few weeks off, I was back on Facebook for a Live video! I am excited to be able to share these videos here as well!
The project for today showed off the adorable Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes. Have you missed those in the Annual Catalogue? They are the perfect size (5 7/8" x 3 3/4" x 1") to put a set of matching Note Cards inside. I made 4 quick and simple Christmas note cards with the beautiful 'Tis the Season 6"x6" Designer Series Paper. This paper allows you to pick your favourite red and green. I focused on Shaded Spruce and Real Red. The dimensions for the cardstock pieces were 3 1/4"x 4 3/4" and the DSP was 3" x 4 1/2".
Once I had layered those, I just chose my favourite ribbon to go with each card. There are really so many amazing choices you can use for your Christmas cards, I went with the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack and the Real Red Braided Linen Trim.
Next up is the sentiment. I used the Story Label punch and chose a few different sentiments from both the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set and the For Unto Us Stamp Set. Once you a add a few of the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels you are good to go! These 4 cards will take you no time at all to make.
There are so many fun things you can do with the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes, but I like the idea of filling them with this set of note cards and giving them as a Teacher gift or a Neighbour gift or for someone else special in your life!
The dimensions for the panels on the box are: 5 3/8" x 3 5/8" for the top, 5 3/8" x 7/8" for the long sides and 3 5/8" x 7/8" for the short sides.
Just wrap the box in your favourite Christmas ribbon, like the Double Stitched Satin Ribbon (not shown here, this is a retired ribbon from last year) and make a simple tag to go with it! And do not forget about the awesome Glitter Star Ornaments! They are just the cutest and will add a special something to any gift or tag!
