Isn't this paper just the cutest?!š¢ The Turtle-y Cute Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! is just perfect for kids birthday cards. I love all the bright colours and fun patterns in the DSP and of course, it is just made to cut out those adorable turtles!
I did not have a live video this week (it has been a fun week full of family celebrations!), but I wanted to share this cute set of birthday cards featuring this DSP.

Card Set
These cards were so fun to create. I started with a simple layout that I could recreate on each card.
Each card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4".
The next layer of the same colour cardstock is 3 3/4" x 5". This would also be super fun to substitute in the Two-Tone Cardstock here in each colour and put the light side up for a bit of contrast. (Check out the matching Two-Tone Cardstock here).
I then added a coordinating piece of cardstock cut to 3 3/4" x 3 1/2". And the DSP is cut to 3 3/4" x 3".
Each card then features its own cute little turtle!
I cut out a circle with the 'Spotlight on Nature' Dies, then added tiny little polka dots with the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.
Then I chose a turtle and an extra detail or two for each card, all just cut out from the DSP! I especially love the little party hats!
The stamp set is 'Simply Said'. This set is a must-have for me. It's such a great basic and I use it all the time!
I'd love to know which card is your favourite! I think mine is the one with the bicycle, I mean check out those cute little glasses on the turtleš¤.
