Today, I have a couple more projects to share with you featuring the super cute and summery, You're a Peach Suite from Stampin' Up!. Peach season has not arrived here yet and is always so short, so I'll have to extend the season a bit with my crafting instead!
For today's card, I wanted to focus on the stamped images. They are just as fun to work with as the DSP! I love the cheerfulness of this card, there is something about that Balmy Blue with the peaches that is so perfect! The card base is just Thick Basic White (4 1/4" x 11", folded in half at 5 1/2") and I then added the fun blue flower patterned DSP, cut at 4" x 5 1/4".
I stamped the peaches and branches on Basic White (3" x 4") and mat in on Calypso Coral cardstock cut at 3 1/8" x 4 1/8". I really wanted to keep this card simple, so I didn't add too many more layers to it. The "Happy Birthday" is heat embossed in white on Balmy Blue and just hand cut out to size. I love the itty bitty flowers in the Peach Dies and so I added a few here, cut out in Calypso Coral.
I also knew that I had to make one of the jam jars as well! Aren't these just the cutest! This is very similar to the sample in the catalogue and once you make one of these up, you're going to love handing them out as little gifts! The only measurement you need is the blue striped DSP that I cut at 8" x 1 1/2" and wrapped around the jar. I would secure it with something strong like SEAL+ or Tear and Tape to make sure it stays put. Then simply stamp the peach as you like, cut it out with the dies and attach it to your jar! I also added a few of the flowers here as well since they are so cute!
