We are already at Day 4 of my 12 Days of Christmas! We are definitely inching closer and closer to Christmas. For each of my projects, I started with something that I really love. For this one I chose the For Unto Us Stamp Set.
The star of this card (wink, wink) is the beautiful designed paper from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper. I am a huge fan of the way that copper looks on a card, especially paired with Night of Navy. For this card I simply layered the DSP on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, then I started building up from there. Using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, I cut out a piece of Copper Foil and layered it on top of a strip of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. The design of this sentiment is really spectacular and I really wanted it to pop. So I heat embossed it in white on Night of Navy Cardstock and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Dies.
I love the elegance of this card and it's always fun to try a colour scheme for a Christmas card that is not what I am normally drawn to. I hope it is something you might like too!
