3 Cute Fall Ideas with Stampin' Up!'s Painted Patch Suite Collection: Weekly Class To Go
The pumpkins are out for this week’s Class to Go and these ones are especially fun to create!
I made 3 whimsical fall cards featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Painted Patch Suite Collection, with the Painted Pumpkins Bundle taking centre stage. The bundle includes stamps, dies and a set of decorative masks that make it easy to add colour and detail to the pumpkins and leaves.
Each card uses the masks a little differently. We’ll create colourful pumpkins, build soft leafy backgrounds and layer shades from the Painted Patch DSP colour palette.
The finished cards are simple, cheerful and full of those sweet details that make this suite so much fun. They would make lovely fall thank-you cards, Thanksgiving greetings or just a little happy mail to brighten someone’s day.

Card 1
I loved the Painted Patch Suite from the moment I saw it in the new catalogue and I've had a lot of fun creating with it, but I hadn't used the decorative masks until today!
Using the masks and your blending brushes gives a lovely soft look to the pumpkins, completely different from the dies or the DSP.
The colour combo on the pumpkins is Petal Pink, Calypso Coral & Cajun Craze. So cute!
Card 2
The little gate that is in the Painted Pumpkins Dies is so fun! It creates a cute background to set your pumpkins on. And it also looks great with the punny sentiment to go with it!
The first card was soft with Pool Party as the background. Using Secret Sea on this card gives it the pumpkins a completely different look.
Don't forget to add the little curly-cues or leaves to your blended pumpkins. It's such a fun detail and brings the pumpkins to life even more!
Card 3
I wanted to also share a fun way to use the other mask that comes in the set. It is a full set of leaves. You can use them for a whole background on a card, but I thought that it would be fun to just use a little strip of them for this card.
Another way to create the pumpkins is to use your Stampin' Blends.
The 'Words of the Season' Dies are still available this year and have great sentiments to take you through the holidays.
