3 Easy Christmas Card Layouts with the Elegant Pine DSP

Looking for some fresh Christmas card inspiration? This week, I’m sharing three easy-to-copy card layouts featuring Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful Elegant Pine Designer Series Paper. Each design uses classic Christmas colours — Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler — to create rich, festive cards you’ll love sending this holiday season.

Whether you’re a beginner crafter or just short on time, these cards come together quickly — and each layout can be easily adapted to other papers or occasions too!

Card 1

Each card features similar elements to help you build off one idea to make more cards.

✨ Key Ideas:

• I love using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. It creates a great base here for each card.

• This layout features the main square in the middle and the sentiment a bit off to the side. Can you envision this layout with your favourite patterned paper?

• The Traditional Labels Stamp Set is just the best for your Christmas cards - so easy to mix & match to get just the right sentiment!

Card 2

✨ Key ideas:

• For this second layout, I added the plaid embossed paper to the bottom, then added in the Elegant Pine DSP and a Cherry Cobbler cardstock strip to tie it all together.

• I love this rich colour combo of Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and a pop of black.

• The Black & White & Gold Baker's Twine is the perfect, yet simple addition to the cards.

Card 3

This card uses the same basics, but steps it up just a little bit by adding in some die cuts.

✨ Key ideas:

• Cut your patterned paper on an angle to add some visual interest, then use that angled line to add in all your details, like the spruce bough die cuts.
