Are you looking for a fun and simple way to save your favourite memories from the summer or from a special vacation or holiday?
I have three creative options for you! Whether you love the charm of a little mini album or prefer traditional scrapbook pages, each of these projects gives your favourite photos and stories a special place to live beyond your camera roll.
All three tutorials are available in my online store, so you can choose your favourite and create it at your own pace.
Beach Boardwalk 5" x 5" Mini Album
This adorable 5" x 5" mini album was originally featured in my April 2026 Stamp & Create Class using the fun Beach Boardwalk Designer Series Paper.
The album is filled with interactive pockets, flip flaps and other fun surprises, giving you lots of creative places to add photos, journaling and little keepsakes. It would be perfect for documenting a summer vacation, a special family trip or any collection of memories you’d love to keep together.
Although I used the Beach Boardwalk paper for my original album, you can easily recreate it with your own favourite paper and coordinating products.
Summer Memories Accordion Mini Album
If you’re looking for something sweet and simple, this accordion-style mini album is such a fun option!
Originally created as part of my Summer Beach Bag class, the album unfolds to reveal spaces for photos, journaling, ticket stubs and other little reminders of your summer adventures. It’s a lovely way to capture a family vacation, weekends at the lake or even your favourite everyday summer moments.
The design is easy to customize with the papers and embellishments you already have, making it a fun project to create for yourself or give as a gift.
Sunniest Stories Scrapbook Pages
If traditional scrapbooking is more your style, or you have lots of photos waiting to be used, then the Sunniest Stories Scrapbook Kit is a great place to begin.
For my Summer Splash Craft Bash, I created all six layouts from the kit and put together a coordinating PDF filled with full project photos, creative tips and ideas for making each layout your own. I also included three coordinating card ideas and inspiration for using some of the leftover supplies.
It’s a great option if you love having the foundation of a kit while still getting plenty of ideas to help you personalize your pages.
Which One Will You Create?
Your summer memories don’t need to stay hidden away on your phone! Whether you choose an interactive mini album, a sweet accordion album or a collection of scrapbook layouts, each of these projects gives you a creative way to enjoy those special moments again and again.
You can find all three tutorials in my online store and choose the project that fits your photos and your crafting style best.
Enjoy!
