For this week's Facebook Live, I decided to take my son's advice and make a kids' birthday card! The Awesome Otters Stamp Set that you can earn for free with a $60 purchase during Sale-a-Bration is perfect for creating a super cute card.
This is a card design that I received inspiration from in the Sale-a-Bration brochure. I took an idea from the Driving By Stamp Set and then adapted it to the otters. I also wanted to try to use a colour scheme that I don't use very often. I went with Pacific Point as the base colour for my card and combined it with Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green.
The little otter is so much fun to bring to life with whatever your favourite colouring tools are. I went with the Watercolor Pencils and Blending Pens to keep it simple for myself. I did use my Stampin' Blends though to make some custom rhinestones in Granny Apple Green. When I was looking at this card, I thought that it would be fun to try it in another colour combo as well! So here we have Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green to stick the Brights family of colours. Which one do you like better?
