Saturday Blog Hop: Casing Debbie Henderson 2026

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! I'm really looking forward to our blog hop for the next few weeks. We will be CASEing each other, which means we'll use a card from one of the designers as our inspiration for our own cards. I love this because this is really why we all share our cards online in the first place - to help spark creativity💛.

This week it's all about Debbie Henderson and below is the card that I chose. I loved the simply layout and the pretty colour combo - I've been looking for ways to sneak Berry Burst into my cards lately!

Products Used

• Colour Combo: I kept it similar to Debbie's with Berry Burst & Lost Lagoon. Then I just switched out the Fresh Freesia for Bubble Bath.

• Embellishment: I wanted to pay homage to the 'Brushed Brass Butterflies'! They are officially on the Last Chance Products List. I better stock up before they're gone!🦋

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".

   2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

2. Card Front:

   1. Cut Berry Burst Cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5".

   2. Cut your DSP in 4 pieces. 2 are 1 3/4" x 3" and 2 are 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".

      1. Add DSP to Berry Burst and then add to card front.

3. Card Details:

   1. Cut out 1 leaf in Lost Lagoon and 1 in Bubble Bath using the 'Petals of Beauty' Dies. Add to card with about 6" of Bubble Bath Ribbon.

   2. Heat emboss or stamp sentiment on Lost Lagoon Cardstock and cut to size. Sample uses the 'Fabulous Sayings' Stamp Set and is 3 1/2" x 1 1/2".

      1. Add to card with dimensionals.

   3. Don't forget your butterflies!
