Saturday Blog Hop: Favourite New Designer Series Paper 2026

This week for our theme we're exploring our favourite new Designer Series Paper! It doesn't take much for me to fall in love with DSP! So, I narrowed it down and chose to use the 'Everyday Essentials' Mix & Match, which you can find online on May 5th or in your catalogue on Page 70. This pack of paper is so fun and versatile. And did you know that it will match all the new Ephemera Packs?! Yay!

Products Used

• Colour Combo: The colours in this paper are so pretty together - Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Bubble Bath, Crumb Cake & Darling Duckling.

• Bundle: 'Scalloped Blooms'. My new go-to for sentiments.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Lost Lagoon Cardstock to 11" x 4 1/4".

   2. Score in half at 5 1/2".

   3. Cut the striped pattern of DSP to 5 1/4" x 4" and adhere to card front.

2. Card Front:

   1. I used a fun and currently popular technique called 'Double Vision'. Cut 7 pieces of a patterned DSP to 3/4" x 3 3/4".

   2. Layer them on the card front, alternating one puffed up with dimensionals and one flat with SEAL.

3. Sentiment:

   1. Cut out the third smallest scalloped circle from the 'Scalloped Blooms' Dies from Lost Lagoon Cardstock.

   2. Heat emboss your sentiment in white. (Or you could stamp the sentiment on in a darker colour).

   3. Add onto card front, tucking a bit of Linen Thread behind if you like.

   4. Finish off with these fab new embellishment called 'Array of Dots'. These ones are in Pretty Peacock.
