Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week's theme is "I Think I Love You' and I had a great time going full Valentine's for this card. Have you seen the ' Most Adored' Specialty Designer Series Paper in the Sale-a-Bration brochure? One side of the DSP has patterns with gold foil and I just cannot resist anything with gold on it! I paired it with the 'Bee My Valentine' Bundle.
For the background, I grabbed my Blending Brushes and started with Petal Pink at the top, moved down to Flirty Flamingo and then blended in Sweet Sorbet on the bottom. That's what so great about this paper, you can make it any colour you like!
Using the 'Bee My Valentine' Stamp Set, I used the wing outline to create a heart. I stamped it in Versamark, put on Heat & Stick Powder, heat set it and then added on the Gilded Leafing. I prefer the leafing to gold emboss powder as it turns out brighter and more shiny. I punched the hearts out and then added a little Sweet Sorbet colour with the Blending Brush again.
I finished off the card with some gold trim and the 'Happy Valentine's Day' sentiment and I think it turned out so pink and fun!
