Saturday Blog Hop: Thank You

Updated: May 11, 2023

Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! We have a Thank You theme for this week. I have been enjoying playing with the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper all week and couldn't resist making another card with it.

I love the wintry look that the blue patterns have, perfect for the snowy weather we have been having in Calgary this week! On a card base of Thick Basic White cardstock, I added a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Soft Succulent cardstock. To add in the lines, I grabbed my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and scored a line at every inch. Such a simple way to add some extra interest to your card.

Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, I cut out the largest square in Balmy Blue cardstock and the next size down in the Fitting Florets DSP. The 'thanks' comes from the Amazing Thanks Dies. I wanted to keep this card simple, so I just added a few white dots from the Classic Matte Dots. Simple, but lovely I think!

If you liked this card and would love to continue receiving ideas and inspiration for your own card making or paper crafting, you can sign up for my weekly newsletter here, and you will get fun tips, inspiration, updates and exclusive freebies.
