Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! We love creating for you to give you some inspiration in your own crafting.

This week we are saying Happy Birthday to Connie! Be sure to wish her a happy birthday and follow along on our hop for some fun birthday card ideas.

Stampin' Up 2026. Birthday Card Idea. Balloon Festoon Stamp Set.

Products Used

  • Stamp Set: 'Balloon Festoon'. I mean really, what else can we use for a Birthday Bonanza?!🎈.

  • Colour Combo:  Barely Blush, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger & Cloud Cover.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Card Base:

    1. Cut Cloud Cover Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".

    2. Score in half at 4 1/4".

  2. Card Front:

    1. Cut Basic White Cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5".

    2. Have fun stamping some balloons!

      1. Just keep layering up the balloons and colours until you're happy. I stamped the Barely Blush full strength, but with the Strawberry Slush and Timid Tiger, I stamped off once for a couple of them.

      2. On the stamped off balloons, you can add a bit of detail with the stamp set, like these cute polka dots.

    3. Once you have stamped all your balloons, use the Journaling Pen to add some cute tails.

    4. Add this piece to Timid Tiger Two-Tone Cardstock on the light side, cut to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". Then add to card front.

  3. Details:

    1. Add any sentiment! I like the black to connect with the balloon tails. This sentiment came from the 'Greetings for All' Ephemera Pack, which makes it so easy! Just add with dimensionals.

    2. Finish off with these cute 'Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers'.
