Saturday Blog Hop: Easter Bunnies & Friends

Here we are only a few weeks away from Easter, so our theme for this week is Easter Bunnies & Friends! I thought this would be a great time to play with March's Product of the Month - the 'Notes of Spring' Stamp Set.

Products Used

• Colour Combo: A perfect Easter colour combo of Balmy Blue, Bubble Bath, Old Olive & Daffodil Delight.

• Stamp Set: 'Notes of Spring'. This is a sweet stamp set with images of a deer, bunny and goose. There are also grass images to create little scenes with and I just love the font of the sentiments.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. This card is a Note Card Size. Perfect for tucking into an Easter gift.

   2. It cutting from scratch, cut Basic White Cardstock to 5" x 7" and score in half at 3 1/2".

2. Card Front:

   1. Cut Balmy Blue Cardstock to 4 1/8" x 2 7/8". Add to card front.

   2. Cut DSP (this is from 'Mixed Up Patterns') to 4" x 2 3/4". Add to card front.

3. Details:

   1. Cut out label piece from the 'Forever Florals' Dies in Basic White.

      1. Stamp the grass shadow in Old Olive.

      2. With Blending Brushes, add Old Olive to the bottom and Balmy Blue to the top.

      3. Add to card with Dimensionals.

   2. Animals

      1. Stamp each animal outline in Memento Tuxedo Black on the 'Mixed Up Patterns' DSP. Fussy cut out and add to card with Dimensionals.

   3. Sentiment

      1. Heat emboss sentiment in white on Old Olive. Cut to size and add to card.

   4. Finish with the 'Muted Palette Dots'.
