Saturday Blog Hop: Fall Flowers

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! Our theme for this week is 'Fall Flowers' and really what else would I want to play with but the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder?! This has been so popular this fall, it just helps you create beautiful cards with little effort!

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Pretty Peacock Cardstock to 4 1/4" x 11".

      1. Score in half at 5 1/2".

2. Sunflowers:

   1. Cut a 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" piece of Basic White cardstock. Emboss with the Sunflower folder.

   2. I coloured mine using Blending Brushes. Starting with some Lost Lagoon around the edges. Then Cherry Cobbler on the centre of the flowers and then coming out with Cajun Craze.

   3. Adhere to Two-Tone Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut to 4" x 5 1/4".

   4. Wrap Linen Thread around it 3 times, securing in the back. Then adhere to card base.

3. Sentiment:

   1. Stamp in Pretty Peacock.

   2. Add a little Lost Lagoon with a Blending Brush to soften the white.

   3. Add to card with dimensionals.
