Saturday Blog Hop: Kids Valentines
Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! Here's to a Happy February as we spend a little time celebrating those we love. Our theme for this week is Kids' Valentines. It's always fun to make your kiddos feel extra special with a little note that says how much you love them. I decided to go with a little notecard using one of my favourite images, the bear from the Count on Me Stamp Set.
The card itself is pretty simple. I cut a piece of Black cardstock and a piece of DSP each to 3" x 3 1/2" and angled them on the front of the card. The bear was coloured with Stampin' Blends and fussy cut out. I love how adding in the black really brings this card to life. I went through a few stamp sets until I found the perfect sentiment from the Flowering Tulips Stamp Set.
If you'd like to try this project too, here are the main products that I used:
Country Floral Lane DSP (Item #160559)
Basic White Notecards (Item #158737)
Count on Me Stamp Set (Item #120953)
