Hello! Thanks for joining us on the Create with Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week we were to create a card that would be perfect to send to someone who needed a little 'Pick Me Up'. I decided to go with something cheery and full of sunshine.
On a white card base, I added a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Balmy Blue DSP. Then layered on this super happy feeling patterned paper with the sunshine on it. It comes from the Sale-a-Bration DSP called Sunny Days (aptly named!). It was cut to 3 1/2" x 4" and matted on Daffodil Delight.
This is the first time I used this fun sentiment from the 'Filled with Happiness' Stamp Set and I just think it's so cute! I heat embossed it in black on Daffodil Delight and punched it out with the coordinating Modern Oval Punch.
It's a pretty simple card and you can add your favourite embellishments to it once you're done. I used Linen Thread and the Loose Daisies just because they're my favourite.:)
