Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! We love creating for you to give you some inspiration in your own crafting.

Did you know that we're on Instagram? You can follow us here @createwithstampingfriends.

This week is all about Spooky Things! Do you love Halloween? Do you love to decorate or dress up? I kind of like all the fun and cute things about Halloween, like candy and sweet little kids' costumes and I would be alright it you left all the spooky out of it!😂

So, my card today for you has cute smiling ghosts and I feel like all the Halloween projects this year are made even better with the adorable Bats & Ghosts embellishments!

Stampin' Up 2026.Halloween Card Ideas. Frightfully Fun DSP.

Products Used

  • Paper: Frightfully Fun DSP. Gives you a classic Black & Orange vibe. I've also paired it with the 'Artisan Sketched Garden' DSP, which has great black & white designs that will go with anything.

  • Stamp Set: Soiree Salutations. Fun little sentiments for all the holidays from now through until Valentine's.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Card Base:

    1. Cut Basic Black Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4". ( The card base is covered by the DSP. I used Basic Black, but you could use any colour in the card).

    2. Cut 2 coordinating patterns of DSP to 2" x 2". Add to card front, layering them at an angle.

  2. Details:

    1. Cut out a few ghosts from the DSP and tuck in around the paper. This is a great way to add details when you don't have a Halloween stamp set.

    2. Heat emboss the sentiment in black on Timid Tiger cardstock. Cut to size and add to card with Mini Dimensionals.

    3. And you have to finish off a Halloween card this year with the Adhesive-Backed Bats, Ghosts & Dots! 👻
