Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! I'm excited for our theme this week, 'Warmer Weather'. I hope that it will actually inspire some real warm weather here in Calgary!
I have had the 'Filled with Happiness' Stamp Set sitting on my desk since I bought it and for some reason, it just kept sitting there unused even though I really like it! So, since it's retiring I thought I better pull it out for this week's card. I think it looks perfect with the new In Color, Peach Pie.
I'm in love with the new patterns from the 2024-2026 In Color 6x6 Designer Series Paper (it will be available in all the colour families!). I cut the flower design to 5 1/2" x 3" and tucked in 1/2" strips of Peach Pie cardstock at the top and bottom. Before I added this to the card front, I wrapped around some Lemon Lolly Baker's Twine.
The striped pattern of DSP was cut to 3" x 3" and then I stamped the sentiment on it with Memento Tuxedo Black and put it on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped the same sentiment a second time on Basic White and punched out the image with the Modern Oval Punch. To colour it, I used ink from the new colours, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock & Pretty In Pink and my Wink of Stella. It's an easy way to colour and you get the bonus of a little sparkle! This was added with dimensionals as well and that was it! Cute & simple.
