Simple & Fun Handmade Cards

Updated: Feb 24, 2022

On this week's Facebook Live it was fun to share a couple of cards that are simple and that you will have lots of fun recreating on your own! Instead of using Designer Series Paper (which is usually my fav go to!), I used the Blending Brushes as an easy way to create beautiful backgrounds for your cards.

My inspiration started with a fun card I saw in the Sale-a-Bration brochure and then I needed to figure out the colours that I wanted to use. I love this combo of Gorgeous Grape (Highland Heather), Just Jade and Pool Party. For a girl who isn't usually that into purple, I just love how these colours work together!

My second card features a new embossing folder, Splatters & Stripes, from the January to June Mini. The card is also a cute and fun size. This is an easy way to elevate an otherwise simple card!

If you would like all the details on these cards and the instructions on how to make them, please check out the replay of my Facebook Live below. You can also head on over to Facebook and follow me there so that you won't miss out on my next Live tutorial! You can find me there every Thursday at 12pm MT.
