Sneak Peek! 5 Card Ideas with Stampin’ Up!’s New 2026-2028 In Colors: Weekly Class To Go

Get ready for a colourful sneak peek! This week, I’m sharing a first look at the brand-new 2026–2028 In Colors from Stampin’ Up!—and I am in love! These gorgeous new shades are coming in the May–August Catalogue launching on May 5th, and I couldn’t wait to start creating with them.

For today’s projects, I’ve designed five handmade cards that show off just how beautifully these colours work together. Each card highlights one main In Color, paired with another to show how effortlessly they complement each other. It’s the perfect way to see these fresh new shades in action—and maybe even discover a new favourite!

You’ll also spot sneak peeks of the coordinating products that will be available in the new colours, including the new magnetic ink pads (so good!), cardstock, two-tone cardstock, pearlized specialty paper, In Color dots, and bordered ribbon. There’s so much to love in this upcoming release!

You can watch the full tutorial in the video below, where I walk you through each card step-by-step and share tips along the way. I hope these projects inspire you to get creative and start counting down to the new catalogue!

New 2026-2028 In Color card ideas. Stampin Up Card ideas 2026.

Card 1: PEACEFUL PINE

Hello Peaceful Pine! This is a beautiful soft green that is super trendy right now. I've been seeing it everywhere from paint colours to bathing suits!

  • Try it out with corals like Flirty Flamingo & Petal Pink or with earthy tones like Crumb Cake & Crushed Curry.

  • It looks fantastic with the other new In Colors too.

Card 2: CRISP CANTALOUPE

Welcome back to an old favourite - Crisp Cantaloupe! This was an In Color the year that I joined Stampin' Up! and it was a fabulous colour then and it still is now!

  • It actually looks really great with other pinks - try it with Strawberry Slush & Melon Mambo for a fun bright combo.

  • Or soften it up with colours from the Subtles family or colours like Lost Lagoon & Pecan Pie.

Card 3: BARELY BLUSH

Let's give a gentle hello to Barely Blush! This super soft pink is delicate and pretty and will make a lovely addition to your colour collection.

  • I think it looks fantastic with dark blues like Secret Sea, Night of Navy or even Blueberry Bushel. It looks equally great with dark greens too, like the amazing new Peaceful Pine of course!

  • As with all the colours this year, it looks great with earthy tones too. Pairing it with subtles might give it a baby card feel, so it just depends on your crafty project what colour you'll love best.

Card 4: HYDRANGEA HUE

Hello Hydrangea Hue! This purply-blue colour has a really unique tone in our Stampin' Up! colour family. If you remember Orchid Oasis & Starry Sky, it's like a colour buddy to those 2 colours.

  • I think it looks great with the other new In Colors!

  • It surprisingly works really well with earthy greens like Mossy Meadow & Old Olive.

  • A great colour combo with this colour is Old Olive & Secret Sea.

Card 5: GOLDEN GLOW

And finally, we give a warm welcome to Golden Glow! This is aptly named as it leans more toward being brown than yellow and therefore giving it a golden glow!

  • I love the way it looks with Barely Blush & Peaceful Pine.

  • You can take this colour into full on nature mode by pairing it with Mossy Meadow & Cajun Craze. (Hello fall projects!!)
